The route begins in Zipaquirá, near the iconic salt mine, and heads into the protected ecosystems of the Santuario Chiquito ecotourism park, a private nature reserve located within the jurisdiction of Pacho.
Along the way, hikers cross extensive páramo areas dominated by frailejones, crystal-clear lagoons, and sweeping panoramic views that reveal the region’s environmental richness.
